LoveLea is the business responsible for your personal data (the "data controller") when you use this online shop. LoveLea uses BakeCheck, a platform provided by a third party, to run the shop and process orders on its behalf (BakeCheck acts as a "data processor").

This notice explains what personal data is collected when you use this shop and how it is used. It is provided under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

When you place an order or create an account with this shop, we collect the details you give us — typically your name, email address, phone number, and delivery or collection address — together with the details of your order.

To let you sign in to view your orders, we send a secure one-time sign-in link to your email address.

We use your information to take and fulfil your orders, to contact you about them, and to let you sign in to track them.

Where enabled by the shop, we send you order-related emails such as an order confirmation, an acceptance notice, and a collection reminder. These are service messages about your order, not marketing.

This shop uses only the strictly necessary cookies required to keep you signed in and to operate the checkout. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.

If this shop has published an address, its contact page embeds a map from Google. Google may set its own cookies when that map loads. Nothing else on this shop loads content from a third party.

Your data is processed by BakeCheck (the platform that runs this shop) on LoveLea's instructions, and by the email service used to send order messages. We do not sell your personal data.

The BakeCheck platform stores order information outside the UK — at present in the United States. The transfer is covered by the standard contractual protections BakeCheck has with its hosting provider.

LoveLea keeps your order information for as long as needed to run the business and to meet its legal and accounting obligations, and then deletes or anonymises it.

Ingredient and allergen information shown for products is provided by LoveLea. While care is taken to keep it accurate, if you have a food allergy or intolerance please contact LoveLea directly to confirm the ingredients of a product before ordering.
